Nuuksio: Finnish Prehistory

An authentic glimpse of Finland’s prehistory.

Negotiable

Service Description

At Nuuksio National Park (established 1994), you’ll get an authentic glimpse of Finland’s prehistory, to see Helsinki as it once was 9,000 years ago as it emerged from the last glacial maximum through isostatic rebound. Valleys and ravines shaped by ice, old-growth forest and bogs, and signs of the inhabitants who lived there, their settlement sites of stone and rock motifs of red ochre.
